Founder

Our founder, Shane, brings over 10 years of hands-on expertise in pool maintenance. He combines his deep passion for the pool industry with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Since founding Pukka Pools in July 2021, Shane has worked tirelessly to stay at the forefront of technology, selecting climate-conscious, efficient products to meet New Zealand’s unique needs.

His strong international industry connections, supported by 200 years of collective experience, have been invaluable to Pukka Pools’ growth. Shane also co-hosts the “Talking Pools“ podcast, where he shares insights and innovations in pool care on the “Mondays Down Under” episodes.

Sammy

Co-founder

Our co-founder, Sammy, brings a rich background in chemistry and pharmaceuticals, with 7 years of experience that translates seamlessly into her love for pool chemistry.

Inspired by industry greats like Bob Lowrey and Rudy Stankowitz, Sammy is passionate about pool care and is eager to embark on a meaningful journey in the swimming pool industry.
